We like to take the long term view, so the minimum station we
build is two tracks, five sections. When we build a station at
the end of a double track line, we use one of these arrangements:
Two track station
Three track station
Four track station
Be careful where you build locomotive service depots. Locomotives
will decide that the need service at any time. If they are near
a depot when they make the decision, they will choose that depot
as their goal. If you have built your tracks without thinking of
this need, it could result in a train that is trapped in the wrong place.
