This set of pages is a labor of love. I work on it from time to time. If you find it interesting or helpful,
let me know. I tend to add new material shortly after encouragement from readers. Send your questions, comments,
suggestions, or complaints to:Bill Den Beste.
I generally answer all inquiries, although it sometimes takes a while.
The following pages are intended to be a comprehensive introduction to electricity, with an emphasis on the practical. As each page is written, it is reviewed by several experts, to ensure that it is accurate and complete. Students who are just learning about electricity should read the following sections in the order shown. Later pages depend on information presented in earlier pages. Well-motivated individuals can use these pages, but they are really intended for use by a teacher-student pair or small group. Each section is accompanied by a teacher's notes section on the same topic. The teacher's notes includes vocabulary, additional explanations, questions for the student, and discussion items to re-inforce the information presented on the topic page. |
