Every electronics experimenter should own an oscilloscope. My personal favorites are the Tektronix 453 and 454. This page is dedicated to the 453 and 454 in the hope that someone will get some benefit from the information and contacts included here.
Bill's Tektronix 453 and 454 Info Pages
Many folks have sent me email regarding parts, manuals, advice, etc. for Tektronix 453 and 454 scopes. I am not a good source for most of these items, but I do know some others here in the Portland Oregon area that are premiere sources. You'll find them mentioned on the Tektronix Resources page.
I have a special place in my heart for Tektronix instruments of the 1960's and 1970's. My first real job was at Tektronix. They helped me to pay for my college education. I worked there for a total of 11 1/2 years. During the early 1970's there was no finer place on earth for an electronics engineer to be employed!
Suggestions, criticism, and other thoughts are always welcome. Send them to billd@reprise.com
