Our customers love Reprise just as much as we love them.

But it’s one thing for us to tell you that – and another thing to hear it directly from them.

That’s why we’ve started sharing customer stories on our YouTube channel. And our first one is from one of our first customers: Scott Britton, co-founder and head of growth at Troops

What Troops Does

Troops is a Salesforce automation platform that gives real-time transparency into Salesforce information. It serves as a Slackbot for the sales team and allows users to configure Salesforce reports, communicate deal wins, and pull Salesforce data for all standard and custom objects through Slack.

Sales Before Reprise

There was plenty of friction in the sales process, as there is at most B2B SaaS companies. Prospects had to talk to the sales team to even get a look at the product. They had a video on their website explaining what their product does, but it wasn’t really able to capture the feel of the product for potential users.

Implementing Reprise

Troops became a Reprise customer at the end of 2020. They built an interactive demo that lives on their homepage. Prospects can now see exactly what it would be like to use the product, and they can check out top use cases from real customers as well to get the complete picture. Now prospects don’t even have to give up an email address – they just click a button on the website, explore what Troops does, and see how it might be able to help them.

Scott told us, “We wanted a way for people to tangibly feel and experience the product without necessarily engaging with the sales team. Reprise was really exciting because it allowed people who came to the website to have that product tour experience.”

Who Uses Reprise

Their product marketing and demand gen teams are the primary users of Reprise at Troops right now. It’s helping their work to get as many people as possible to the website to engage with the product. And their sales team also uses Reprise to create custom tours to send as follow-ups to prospects.

The Reprise Results

Using Reprise, Troops saw 5x more engagement with their main product exploration call-to-action on their website. Reprise helped them create a more interactive experience for prospects, and many of those website visitors ultimately became opportunities for the sales team to engage.

This increase in their sales pipeline wasn’t the only benefit. Prospects are also coming into sales conversations better informed, because they’ve gone through the product already. The educational component of sales is streamlined and it even works with other stakeholders as well – they often send a follow-up link to their product tour for anyone who is involved in the buying process. All of this serves to shorten their sales cycle, which is a huge benefit in the slower B2B sales world.

Why Reprise is Essential

As Scott says, “Reprise just works.” It’s easy for his team to grab a screenshot of the Troops product and create a tour without needing any knowledge of coding or high-tech aptitude. Reprise is easy to use for everyone, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Troops is also really leaning into the product-led motion because their buyers want to see and feel the product before making a purchasing decision. That’s the expectation in the market now so they’re working hard to keep ahead of the competition. People want to try before they buy and validate with their users that they actually like the product. Reprise helps remove friction from the sales process so sellers can do their jobs effectively – and that puts Troops in a strong position as they grow.
